Robert Sass, 74, of Bennington, recently died.
Services were Thursday, Feb. 3, at Zion Lutheran Church in Omaha. Interment was in Westlawn-Hillcrest.
He is survived by a daughter, Shirley Piper of Bennington; a son, Charles of Omaha; two grandchildren, Terra Piper of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; and Tyler Piper of Bennington; a brother, C.W. Sass of Arizona; two sisters, Lenore Klabunde and Marlene Reed, both of Bennington; and two sisters-in-law, Margaret Plugge of Kennard; and Thelma Rix of Clearwater.
Memorials are suggested to the Zion Lutheran Church or Bennington Fire and Rescue.
Hadan-Golden-Reichmuth Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
