ARTHUR SASS, 85
Arthur Sass, 85, of Bennington, died Friday, Dec. 12, 1997, at Crowell Memorial Home in Blair.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. John’s Lutheran Church. Rev. John Pierson will officiate. Burial will be in the German Cemetery.
Mr. Sass was born March 17, 1912 in Douglas County. He was a farmer.
Survivors are sons, Lyle Sass, Blair and Victor Sass, Bennington; a daughter, Marjorie A. Biffar, Blair; a brother, Bill Sass, Bennington; a sister, Iris Rix, Junction City, Ore.; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Hadan Golden Reichmuth Funeral Home in Bennington is in charge of arrangements.
