Mary Ann Skoog, 80

Mary Ann Skoog, 80, died Sunday, Aug. 22, 2010, in Omaha.

Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 25, at Luther Memorial Lutheran Church in Omaha. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, at the Blair Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Tuesday at Heafey-Heafey-Hoffmann-Dworak-Cutler West Center Chapel, with the family receiving friends from 5 to 7 p.m.

Mary Ann Skoog was born Dec. 14, 1929, in Blair to Byron and Lenna Bunn.

She is survived by her husband, Dr. Donald P. Skoog; son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Robert Skoog and Lt. Emily Kane; daughter and son-in-law, Kristin Skoog and Groff Schroeder; grandchildren, Nicholas Skoog, Mia Skoog, Max Schroeder, Cailin Willey and Riley Galbraith (Sgt. Marty, U.S.M.C); great-grandson, C.J. Capizzi; brother, Jack Bunn; many loving brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; nieces, nephews, and special beloved friend, Margaret Greisen.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Eugene Bunn, and son, David Skoog.

Memorials are suggested to the Luther Memorial Lutheran Church; the UNMC Faculty Women's Club Scholarship Fund; or the charity of the donor's choice.
