JAMES SAXTON

James Bryant Saxton, 84, a resident of the Mercy Care Center in Omaha and formerly of Tekamah, passed away at the Care Center on Saturday morning, February 14, 1987 after a lengthy illness.

He was born on January 30, 1903, at Tekamah to James Stewart and Ethel (Bryant) Saxton.

He helped out on the family farm for most of his life.

Survivors include one sister, Mary Elaine Saxton of Tekamah, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Monday, February 16, 1987 at the Hamel & Peck Funeral Home in Tekamah with Fr. John McCasling officiating.

Interment was in the Tekamah Cemetery.
