Mrs. Morris Simonsen Dies Following a Short Sickness

Mrs. Morris Simonsen died at her home on west South street shortly before noon last Saturday following a short illness. The deceased was born at Craig, Nebraska, January 25, 1899. She was graduated from the Craig high school in 1918 and on July 7, 1921 she was united in marriage with Morris Simonsen.

She had been a resident of Blair only a few years and was held in the highest esteem by a large circle of friends. About a week ago she contracted a cold which later developed into double pneumonia and in a few days caused her death. Surviving her are the bereaved husband and a son, Richard; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Stoner of Craig; a brother, William, also of Craig; besides other relatives.

Funeral services were conducted from the Craig Methodist church Tuesday afternoon, the Rev. Carl G. Bader officiating, after which interment was made in Craig cemetery.
