Shannon M. Nebitt, 28, of Blair, died Friday, Aug. 20, 2010, after a car accident on Highway 75 in Douglas County.

The funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 25, at First Baptist Church in Blair.

Visitation will be from noon until 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 24, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m.

Shannon Marie O'Donnell was born April 11, 1982, in Blair. She attended Blair High School, graduating with the Class of 2000. After graduation, she attended Iowa Western Community College on a music scholarship.

In 2002, she married Michael Robert Nebitt of Harper, Kan., and welcomed their daughter, Lola Marie in December of 2006.

She enjoyed working side-by-side with her mother and friends as an office assistant at Dr. Herbert C. Coulter's office in Blair. Her special gift to all was her beautiful voice, which she shared at funerals, weddings and get-togethers.

She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend to all that were blessed to have known her.

She is survived by her husband, Michael, and daughter, Lola Marie, of Blair; mother and stepfather, Brenda and Bob Flynn of Blair; father and stepmother, Maury and Kamisah O'Donnell; brothers, Ryan O'Donnell, Kyle Flynn, Dallas Flynn, and Daniel O'Donnell, all of Omaha; sisters and brother-in-law, Wade and Melissa Vick of Ocean Springs, Miss., and Emma O'Donnell of Omaha; grandparents, Clois and Wilma Coon of Blair and Helen Louise O'Donnell of Tucson, Ariz.; great-grandparents, Burton and Alice Perry of Drasco, Ark.; a nephew and a niece.
