Lillian E. Royuk, 91

Lillian E. Royuk, 91, of Arlington, died Thursday, February 21, 2013, at Nye Legacy Health and Rehabilitation in Fremont.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 27, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church north of Arlington. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 26, from 6 to 8 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at Reckmeyer-Moser Funeral Home in Arlington. Visitation will continue on Wednesday at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery north of Arlington.

Lillian E. Schmidt was born June 10, 1921, in Arlington to William and Amelia (Stork) Schmidt. She was raised in Arlington and graduated from Arlington High School.

On March 3, 1946, she married Paul Royuk at St. Paul's Lutheran Church north of Arlington.

She was a member at St. Paul's Lutheran Church and belonged to LWML and the Quilting Guild.

Mrs. Royuk was also the Washington County Fair superintendent of arts and crafts for 28 years . She was a past grand marshal of the Washington County Fair parade.

She also enjoyed needlework, quilting, flowers and spending time in the garden.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, William and Joanne Royuk of Fremont and Rodney and Karen Royuk of Fremont; sister-in-law, Darlene Schmidt of Fremont; five grandchildren, Matthew (Beth) Royuk of Valley, Amanda (Chad) Camenzind and Anne (Matthew) Chrans of Blair, Zachary (Deanna) Royuk of Arlington, and Rachal Royuk of Fremont; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul, on August 23, 1983; sisters, Irma Royuk and Margaret Scheer; and brothers, Paul and Curtis Schmidt.
