Clara Wilson Dies Tuesday in Omaha

A funeral mass will be held today, Thursday, November 5, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in Blair for Clara G. Wilson, 73, who died at Methodist Hospital in Omaha on November 3, 1981.

Rev. Daniel Galas is conducting the mass. Burial is in Holy Cross Cemetery in Blair.

Clara G. Wilson was born February 1, 1908, in Putman, Oklahoma, to Wm. and Clara Asley Skelton. She moved to Missouri Valley, Iowa, with her parents as a child. She attended school in Missouri Valley and graduated in 1925.

She married Harvey Wilson on August 12, 1927, in Council Bluffs, Iowa. A homemaker, she and her husband farmed in Washington County until they retired and moved to Omaha, where they were living at the time of her death.

She was preceded in death by one daughter and one sister.

She is survived by her husband, Harvey Wilson, Omaha; and three daughters, Mrs. Gary (Patricia) Paulsen, Omaha; Mrs. Duane (Georgia) Pokorney, Yankton, South Dakota; and Mrs. Myron (Sandra) Gilliland, Omaha. Nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Bob (Billie) Weaver, Phoenix, Arizona, also survive her.

Pallbearers are Rusty Anderson, Del Andresen, John Greguska, Tracy Paulsen, Tom Wilson and John Young, Jr.

Memorials may be made to the Arthritis Foundation.
