THE FUNERAL OF CARL SCHAFER

The funeral of Karl Schafer was held Aug. 10th at two o’clock at the Presbyterian church, conducted by Rev. F.A. Stancliffe, and the Odd Fellow lodge. The church was filled with sympathizing friends of the family and the floral tokens were very beautiful. All members of the family were present except Mrs. H.D. Beynon of New Westminister who was unable to come in time for the funeral.

Carl Schafer was born at Kennard and was twenty-five years old at the time of his death. He was loved by all who knew him. A complication of diseases was the cause of his death.

Interment was made in Conrad Memorial cemetery.
