HAROLD SCHAFER, FORMER BLAIR MAN, DIED FRIDAY

Harold Schafer, a native of Blair and resident here for many years, died last Friday, March 22nd at his home at Springfield, Missouri. Death was attributed to a heart attack.

Mr. Schafer was 67 years of age, was born at Blair and was married to the former Alice Wilkinson, daughter of W.W. Wilkinson of this city.

He is survived by his wife and by a son, Harold, Jr., and a daughter, Mrs. Barbara Roberts. Both the son and daughter live in Omaha. There are also six grandchildren.

A sister Eva (Mrs. Roland Smith, Sr. of DeSoto) also survives.

Funeral services are pending and arrangements are being made by the Campbell Mortuary of Blair. Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery and services will be held from St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, but the time had not been determined as the Pilot-Tribune went to press Saturday noon.
