Sharron D. Schafer, 51, of Blair, died Friday, Jan. 31, 2003, in Omaha.

Funeral services are 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 4, at Sievers-Sprick Funeral Home at Fort Calhoun. Inurnment will be in the Fort Calhoun Cemetery.

Sharron D. Schafer was born June 24, 1951, in Kokomo, Ind., to Russell and Thelma Chapman.

She is survived by her husband, Lawrence Schafer; son, Richard Schafer; and daughter, Laurie Schafer, all of Blair; mother, Thelma Chapman of Atlanta, Ga.; sister and brother-in-law, Teresa and Thomas Lanouette of Springfield, Mo.; brothers and sisters-in-law, Marty and Sandra Robbins, and David and Jo Chapman, all of Atlanta; three grandchildren and seven nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Russell Chapman; brother, Steven Robbins; and granddaughter, Brittany Childers.

Sievers-Sprick Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
