Services For Mrs. Winset Were Tuesday Afternoon

Services for Mrs. Mary Winset, of Arlington, were held Tuesday.

Mrs. Winset was 86 when she passed away Friday evening. Mrs. Winset suffered a fall one week earlier but was not seriously injured. Friday Mrs. Winset suffered a stroke and passed away.

Services were Tuesday afternoon at the First Methodist Church in Arlington. Rev. Samuel Hemphill officiated. Committal was in the Arlington Cemetery with Wm. Reckmeyer and Son in charge.

Mrs. Winset is survived by a son, Clarence, of Hawthorne, Fla.; three daughters; Mrs. Lovina Sorensen of Arlington, Mrs. Vern Nicholas of Grand Island; and Mrs. Louis Rankin of Omaha. She also has one brother, Leslie Offen, of Blair; and a sister, Mrs. Belva Simmers, of Genoa, Nebr.

Mrs. Winset has 16 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchidren.

Mrs. Winset was active in the Arlington Library program and was a news writer for the Arlington Citizen until the time her eyesight failed her.

Pallbearers were Melvin Sorensen, Larry Rankin, Paul Sorensen, Leslie Sorensen, Merle Sorensen and Elmer L. Bartlett.

Therlo Reckmeyer was the soloist and Mrs. Charles House was the organist.
