Richard Wolfe

Services for Richard Lynn Wolfe, 52, of Kennard, who died Wednesday, Nov. 27, 1985, in the Blair Memorial Community Hospital, were held Saturday, November 30, at Campbell Funeral Home. The Rev. Dennis Maaske officiated and burial was in the Prairie View Cemetery in Kennard.

Wolfe was born February 15, 1933, the son of Richard and Orphia Wolfe of Omaha.

He married Emma Geraldine Strong and served in the Korean War, May 17, 1950-May 16, 1953. He was a retired switchman for the Burlington Railroad.

Survivors include his wife of Kennard; two sons, Dan of Arlington and Richard Jr. of Kennard; two daughters, Mrs. William (Jeanette) Taylor of Elkhorn, and Kathy Wolfe of Kennard; his parents of Omaha; three sisters, Anne Halpine of Omaha, Mrs. Robert (Nancy) Morton of Stanford, Conn., and Mrs. Michael (Jennifer) Buckingham of Omaha; and five grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Ron Koenig, Mark Koenig, John Halpine, Rich Halpine, Donn Penke and Mark Strong.

Organist was Dave Collins.

Memorials may be made to the Kennard Rescue Squad or Better Breather, in-care-of the Blair Memorial Community Hospital.

Campbell Funeral Home of Blair was in charge of arrangements.
