Billie Jean Wolff, 72, of Underwood, Iowa, died Wednesday, May 5, 1999, at the Westmont Care Center in Logan, Iowa.

Services were Saturday, May 8, at Hennessey-Schumacher Funeral Home in Logan, Iowa. Pastor David Light officiated.

Billie Jean Wolff was born March 17, 1926, to Frank and Ethel (Collins) Pitt in Crescent, Iowa.

She graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School and married John W. Wolff.

For 34 years, she worked as a lab technician for Blue Star Foods in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

She is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, Jack and Rose Hatcher of Blair, and John and Laura Wolff of Underwood, Iowa; sister, Carolyn Tupper of Logan, Iowa; six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Wolff; an infant daughter, Carol Sue Hatcher; and a brother, Jim Pitt.

Hennessey-Schumacher Funeral Home in Logan, Iowa, was in charge of arrangements.
