Ed Wolff, 76, Died Early Today

Ed Wolff, 76 year old former Blair business man died suddenly at the Memorial Community Hospital early today. He became ill during the night and was taken to the hospital early this morning by ambulance. He died about 10 A.M.

He was born September 6th, 1885 at Omaha. He was married to Erma Biglow of King City, Missouri and they observed their 56th wedding anniversary last Saturday.

For many years he operated the Wolff Drug Store, which was a forerunner of the present Samson Rexall Store. He sold the store a number of years ago and for a time was in the furniture business in the location recently occupied by Steinbaugh Furniture Store. He retired from active business about 10 years ago.

Mr. Wolff is survived by his wife and by one daughter, Mrs. Audrey Noh, of St. Louis, Missouri. Also surviving are three brothers and a sister. The brothers are Lois and Arthur Wolff, of Omaha, and Frank Wolff, of Blair. The sister is Mrs. Ida Beekmann of Los Angeles, California.

Rosary will be held at the Campbell Mortuary Sunday evening at 7 o’clock P. M. and funeral services, from St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church will be held Monday morning at 9 A.M.

Interment will be made in Holy Cross Cemetery at Blair.
