Mrs. Nelsena Wolf, 94, Died This Week

Mrs. Adolph Wolf, (Nelsena Marie) died February 13th at the Good Shepherd Home where she had resided for the past year. Funeral services will be held at the Immanuel Lutheran Church at Orum at 2 P.M., on Thursday, February 16th. The Rev. Harold Laursen will officiate and burial will be in the Orum Cemetery. The Bendorf Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Nelsena Marie Christiansen was born March 12, 1872, in Jyland, Demark and was 94 years of age at the time of her death. At the age of 17 she came to the United States with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Nels Christiansen and they located near Orum.

She was married to William Buchardt and they were parents of four children: Nels Buchardt of Ft. Calhoun, Ted Buchardt of Arlington and Mrs. Carl J. Erikson (Emma) of Blair. One son died in infancy. Mr. Buchardt died in 1909. In 1913 she was married to Adolph Wolf, who passed away in 1934.

Survivors besides her two sons, Nels and Ted Buchardt and daughter Mrs. Emma Erikson are six grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Three sisters and 3 brothers preceded her in death.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons, George Schmidt, Norman Buchardt, Leo Buchardt, Emil Buchardt, John Sorensen and Jack Erikson.
