Judd Behrendt, 32

Judd Behrendt, 32, of Omaha, formerly of Herman, died Thursday, February 28, 2013, at his residence in Omaha.

Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 5, at Country Bible Church in Blair. Visitation is Monday, March 4, beginning at 2 p.m. at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home in Blair with family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Interment will be in the Herman Cemetery.

Judd Behrendt was born July 18, 1980, in Blair to Jeffrey and Stella (Ekroth) Behrendt.

He grew up in the Herman area. He attended Tekamah-Herman High School and was a graduate of the class of 1998. He was a member of the basketball team and excelled as a member of FFA, and was also a member of 4-H.

After high school, he attended school in Lincoln majoring in animal science. After his time in Lincoln, he spent the next two years traveling the country installing fencing.

He worked the past eight years for Eyman Plumbing of Omaha, as a heavy equipment operator.

He was known to everyone as a kind and gentle person with a big heart.

He loved animals and children. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, football and spending time with friends.

He is survived by his parents, Jeffrey and Stella of Herman; brother and sister-in-law, Adam and Kate Behrendt of Herman; his beloved dog, Buster; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
