Lynn W. Steffen, 55

Lynn W. Steffen, 55, of Blair died Friday, March 1, at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair.

Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, at Living Hope Church south of Blair. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in the Allen Cemetery.

Lynn W. Steffen was born August 23, 1957, to Emmett and Marie (Betts) Steffen.

He grew up in Missouri Valley, Iowa, and graduated from Missouri Valley High School.

After high school, he worked as an electrician for a year and then began working as an industrial painter for Jebco. He worked for Jebco for 36 years.

On August 16, 1986, he married Tory Akes of Blair and the couple made their home in Blair.

Mr. Steffen's faith in God was always the largest thing in his life. He most enjoyed spending time with his wife and soul mate, Tory, and working on his 1969 Camero.

He is survived by his loving wife, Tory of Blair; brother and sister-in-law, Alan and Virginia of Bellevue; sister, Pat Shelton of Blair; sister-in-law and spouse, Tammy and Brad Roth of Omaha; sister-in-law, LoisAnne Steffen of Clovis, Calif.; and mother- and father-in-law, Charles and Joyce Akes of Blair.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Wayne.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home in Blair is in charge of arrangements.
