Howard N. Woodard, 76, died July 13, 2009, at his residence in South Gate, Calif.

An inurnment at the Blair Cemetery is planned at a later date.

Howard N. “Jake” Woodard was born Sept. 2, 1932, in Blair to Howard and Helen Woodard.

He is survived by his sister, Virginia Welch of Lakewood, Colo.; brother, Jim Woodard of Blair; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia; one brother; and three sisters.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
