Services for Arnold “Swede” Woodring, 70 who died January 27, 1994 at Veterans Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri were Monday, February 1 at the First Baptist Church in Pattonsburn, Missouri. Burial was in the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Pattonsburg.

Arnold Woodring was born January 6, 1924 in Crofton, Nebraska. He moved to Blair when he was 10 years old and grew up in Blair.

He served in Europe with the Army for two years during World War II.

He was preceded in death by his parents, A.B. “Abe” and Lois Woodring, one daughter and two sisters.

He is survived by his wife, Kaye of Pattonsburg; six children, Walter, Omaha; Barbara, St. Charles, Missouri; Donna, Pattonsburg; Anita Jo, Pattonsburg; Marcia, Kansas City, Missouri and Gloria, Maryville, California; one brother, Brice Woodring, Blair; two sisters, Maxine Rathjen, Fort Calhoun and Marlene White of Maysville, Missouri; 16 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
