RITES FOR MRS. DORA SCHEER WERE HELD ON WEDNESDAY
Mrs. Dora Scheer, 67, died Sunday at her home, 1025 E. Fourth St., after a brief illness. Services were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery in Fremont.
Born north of Arlington June 4, 1893, Mrs. Scheer was baptized July 2, 1893, and confirmed on March 24, 1907. She attended St. Paul’s Lutheran School. On Feb. 24, 1914, she married William Scheer at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. They farmed northwest of Arlington until March 1, 1938, when they moved to Fremont. Mr. Scheer died March 23, 1949.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Edgar (Mildred) Juedes of Fremont; sons, Raymond of Arlington and Ronald of Fremont; a sister, Mrs. Emma Echtenkamp of Fremont; a brother, G.W. Hilgenkamp of Arlington; and four grandchildren.
The Rev. Arlin Holtz officiated at the services.
