CORINNE SCHEER, 71

Corinne Scheer, 71, of Fremont, died Friday, March 16, 2007, at the Fremont Area Medical Center.

Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 20, in the Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel in Fremont. Interment will be in Fremont’s Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation began on Monday but will also be held from 9 a.m. until service on Tuesday.

Corinne Mulliken was born in Nickerson to Harwood and Lena (Pettit) Mullkien. She grew up on a farm near Nickerson and graduated from Fremont High School.

On June 17, 1953, she married Duane Scheer in Arlington. They lived briefly in Louisiana and Manhattan, Kan., while her husband served in the Army.

In 1995, they moved to Fremont, where her husband worked for Fairmont Foods, Old Home Bread and Fremont Grain Inspection, and Mrs. Scheer worked for Memorial Hospital of Dodge County.

She is survived by two daughters, Cindi and Tom Braesch of Fremont and Lori McManigal of Fremont; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Ron and Mary Scheer of Omaha and Steve Scheer of Fremont; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Duane in 1995; an infant daughter; and two brothers, Jim and William Mulliken.
