Funeral services were held at Emmaus Lutheran Church in Kennard on Saturday, April 9, for Erica Anne Worth, eight days old, who died April 7, 1983, at Children’s Hospital after being injured in an accident five days earlier.

The Rev. Russell Saltzman officiated. Burial was in the Kennard Cemetery.

Erica Anne Worth was born March 30, 1983, in Omaha to Stanley and Theresa Jean Anne Kuster Worth. She was on her way home from the hospital when the car in which she and her parents were riding was hit from behind in a three car accident about two miles north of Omaha on Highway 133. She was taken to Immanuel Hospital and was then transferred to Children’s Hospital with injuries from the accident.

She was preceded in death by a grandfather, Jerome Kuster.

She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Worth, Kennard; a brother, Joshua Worth; a step-brother, Lance Worth; and a step-sister, Crystol Worth. Her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Vance Worth of Blair and Ruby Kuster of Guthrie Center, Iowa, also survive her.

Campbell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements for the services.
