IRENE M. SCHEER, 73

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 13 at St. Paul Lutheran Church north of Arlington for Irene M. Scheer, 73 of Arlington who died June 10, 1990 at Memorial Hospital of Dodge County in Fremont. Rev. Michael Rogers will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery in Fremont.

Irene M. Scheer was born June 2, 1917 at Orum to H. Chris and Inga Nielsen Peterson. She grew up in Orum and after her marriage lived all her life in Arlington.

She married Raymond Scheer September 4, 1935 at Arlington. He survives.

She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Irvin Peterson and Gifford Peterson; one daughter, Janet Scheer; and one grandson, Raymond Fisher.

She is survived by two daughters, Carol (Mrs. Hansel) Vogt and Lila (Mrs. Raymond) Fisher, both of Blair; a brother, Roy Peterson of Omaha; and three grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Dale Scheer, Calvin Scheer, Michael Scheer, Douglas Scheer, David Vogt, Ryan Fisher and Eugene Petersen.

Visitation is in progress.

Reckmeyer-Moser Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements for the services.

IRENE META SCHEER

Irene Meta Scheer, daughter of H. Chris and Inga (Nielsen) Peterson, was born June 2, 1917 at Orum, Nebraska. She grew up there and attended Bisbee School, west of Orum. She married Raymond W. Scheer on September 4, 1935 at Arlington. She lived at Arlington since her marriage and was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.

Irene passed from this life on Sunday, June 10, 1990 at Memorial Hospital in Fremont, Nebraska at the age of 73 years and 8 days. She is survived by her husband, Raymond; 2 daughters, Mrs. Hansel (Carol) Vogt and Mrs. Raymond (Lila) Fisher, both of Blair, Nebraska; her brother, Roy Peterson of Omaha, Nebraska; and 3 grandchildren, David and Lisa Vogt and Ryan Fisher.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Janet Scheer; a grandson, Raymond Fisher; and 2 brothers, Irvin and Gifford Peterson.
