Frank J. Smith, 90, of Herman died Tuesday, March 5, 2013, in Omaha.

Mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Saturday, March 9, at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in Blair. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home with a rosary at 7 p.m. Interment will follow mass at Holy Cross Cemetery in Blair.

Frank J. Smith was born September 7, 1922, in Omaha to Oscar and Nell Smith.

He was a lifetime member of the Herman American Legion, St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.

On June 19, 1943, he married Lorraine Perina of Omaha.

He is survived by his son, Robert of Omaha; daughter and son-in-law, Margaret and Nick Rasmussen of Omaha, daughter-in-law, Kathy Smith of Herman; grandchildren, Pam Coppock, Lori Skinner and Jason Rasmussen; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorraine; son, Michael Smith; grandson, Randy Smith; and brother, Robert.

Memorials may be directed to the St. Francis Borgia Building Fund or the Herman American Legion.
