Delores E. McIntosh, 84

Delores E. McIntosh, 84, of Blair, died Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 16, at First United Methodist Church in Blair. Visitation will be Friday at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home beginning at 4 p.m. with family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Interment will be in the Blair Cemetery.

Delores Ethel Campbell was born September 11, 1928, in Blair to Howard and Ethel (McMurtrie) Campbell.

She grew up in Blair and graduated from Blair High School. After high school, she worked at the Blair Brush Factory.

On August 3, 1946, she married Harvey Pearl “Sam” McIntosh in Hiawatha, Kan.

The couple farmed in Iowa after their marriage. In 1958, the family moved to Nebraska where they farmed.

She was a member of the Extension Club for 30 years.

Mrs. McIntosh loved playing cards and bingo. She enjoyed going to the Blair Marina and dancing with her husband.

She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by daughters and son-in-law, Vicky and Henry Hansen of Herman and Marlene Tilson of Blair; son and daughter-in-law, Harold and Judy McIntosh of Quincy, Mo.; brothers, Jerry Campbell of Olathe, Kan., and Howard Campbell of Kansas City, Mo.; sisters-in-law, Grace Baker of Blair and Anne McIntosh of Blair; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey “Sam” McIntosh; and brothers, Bert Campbell and Leroy Campbell.

Memorials may be directed the First United Methodist Church in Blair or the Blair Rescue Squad.
