Services Are Friday For George Wrich

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, April 16, at First United Methodist Church for George F. Wrich, who died April 14, 1982, in Blair.

Rev. Gordon Patterson will conduct the services. Burial will be in Blair Cemetery.

George F. Wrich was born December 24, 1898, in Kennard to Hans P. and Bertha Kuhr Wrich. He was married to Lillie Schneider.

He attended grade school in Kennard. He farmed in the Kennard area and later in Wranch District. He moved to Blair in 1951 and worked for Blair Feed Mill until retiring in 1964.

His parents, wife, one grandson and two brothers preceded him in death.

He is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Wendell (Myra) Homes, Blair; Mrs. Jerry (Linda) Holiday, Blair; Mrs, George (Opal) Penke, Omaha; Mrs, Bob (Lodena) May, Denver, Colorado; and three sons, Melvin Wrich, Delta, Colorado; Marvin Wrich and Merle Wrich, both of Blair. Seventeen grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Otto Wrich, Blair; Chris Wrich, Denver, Colorado; and one sister, Mrs. Walter (Marie) Japp, Sr., Kennard, also survive him.

Pallbearers will be Roger Penke, George Penke, Randall Penke, Marvin Wrich, Jr., Steven McAllister, Michael McCormick, Jeffrey Wrich, Kenneth Wrich and James Wrich.

Campbell Funeral Home is handling the arrangements for the services.
