Melvin G. Wrich, 77

Washington County native Melvin G. Wrich, 77, died March 23, 2005, at his home in Delta, Colo. Funeral services were held March 26 at Taylor Funeral Home in Delta. Interment was in the Mesa View Cemetery.

Melvin George Wrich was born Sept. 22, 1927, in Kennard to George and Lillie (Schneider) Wrich. He attended school in Washington County.

He is survived by his wife, Donna; three sons and daughters-in-law, Jeffrey and Rhonda Wrich, Kenneth and Geraldine Wrich, and James and Stephanie Wrich, all of Delta; seven grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; four sisters, Opal Penke of La Vista, Myra White of Sun City, Ariz., Lodena May of Fort Collins, Colo., and Linda Holiday of Kennard; one brother, Marvin Wrich, of Hawkins, Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by a son, Kris; a brother, Merle; and a grandson, Eric.
