Merle Wrich

Funeral services for Merle Chris Wrich, 41, who died Monday, July 7, 1986, at his home, will be held Friday, Jul 11, 10:30 a.m. at Campbell Funeral Home in Blair. Rev. John Ewton will officiate and burial will be in the Blair Cemetery.

Wrich was born January 24, 1945, the son of George and Lillie Wrich of Blair.

He attended the Blair Schools and enlisted in the Army. He worked for an alfalfa plant after returning home from the services and for the past 13 years he worked for Nebraska Engineering.

Survivors include four sisters, Myra Homes of Blair, Mrs. George (Opal) Penke of La Vista, Mrs. Bob (Lodena) May of Denver, Colorado, and Mrs. Jerry (Linda) Holiday of Blair; and two brothers: Melvin of Delta, Colorado, and Marvin of Black Canyon City, Arizona.

Pallbearers will be Mike McCormick, John Pieper, Steve McAlister, Roger Penke, Randy Penke and George Penke.

Organist and vocalist will be Clare Cowing.

Campbell Funeral Home of Blair is in charge of arrangements.
