Carrie Wright Dies At Age Of 91

Services for 91 year old Carrie A. Wright will be on Thursday, January 17, 1980, at 2 p.m. in the Christian Church at Blair. Mrs. Wright resided at 3020 College Drive and died on Monday, January 14th in Blair.

Rev. Owen Wilmot will officiate at the funeral with Campbell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements and burial in the Blair Cemetery.

Mrs. Wright was born at Unionville, Iowa on April 23, 1888. She is survived by two daughters, three grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. The daughters are: Mrs. Roy (Judy) Duffey, Blair; and Mrs. George (Meree) Longnecker, Cedar Falls, Iowa. The grandchildren are: John Longnecker, John Duffey and JoAnn Duffey.

She was preceded in death by her husband John W. Wright. The couple were married on February 26, 1908. She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Wright and by her parents and two sisters.

Iowa was the home for the Wrights, who were married on February 26, 1908. Fifteen years ago they moved to Blair to be near their daughter, Mrs. Roy Duffey.

Pallbearers will be: Michael Jones, Robert Richards, Charles Sylvis, Dennis Altekruse, Leonard Holling and Charles Hansen.
