Illness Fatal To Mrs. T. H. Wright, 64

Succumbs Following Illness Of Six Weeks’ Duration

Mrs. Hugh Wright, who had been ill since the first part of March, died Monday, April 15th, at the Methodist hospital in Omaha where she had been a patient for the past two weeks.

Deceased was born June 23, 1876, in Smith County, Virginia, and came to this county in 1894. Here she made her home until her marriage to Hugh Wright in 1901. The marriage ceremony was solemnized in the Baptist parsonage of this city.

After the marriage they resided one year in Hartington, Nebraska, and three years in Wayne, Nebraska. The remainder of their married life has been spent in Blair.

Two children were born to the union, Mrs. Marguerite Young of San Francisco and Mrs. Helen Allard of Omaha, and these with the husband are deeply grieved over the loss of their loved one.

Mrs. Wright was a consistent Christian and a member of the local Methodist church. She also was a member of the Rebekah organization and when her health would permit was active both in the church and the lodge.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon from the Bendorf Funeral Home with Rev. Ralph Rasmussen officiating and interment was made in the Blair Cemetery.
