Mother Of Blair Man Dies In Iowa

Ruth Darlene Wright, 69, Creston, Iowa, died September 8, 1981 at Greater Community Hospital.

Her funeral was at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Immaculate Conception Holy Spirit Church. Burial was in the Catholic Cemetery in Massena.

Mrs. Wright was born September 15, 1911 in Creston to Pearl C. and Myrtle Mae (Mahan) Jackson.

She married Lloyd F. Wright November 14, 1929 in Creston who preceded her in death on February 12, 1965.

She lived her entire life in Creston with the exception of 1943 thru 1963 when she lived in St. Joseph, Missouri, and Omaha. She was a housewife.

She is survived by one daughter, Ruth D. Silone of Creston; one son, Lloyd F. Wright, Jr. of Blair; seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Orville Jackson in Arkansas; three half-brothers, Everett, Lowell and John “Jack” Willets, all of Creston.
