#1-7 May, 1903 - Blair Republican - Margaret (Neely) Wright

On Friday evening of last week while preparing to retire for the night, Mrs. T. M. Wright, one of the most respected residents of Kennard, dropped dead in the presence of her husband. The doctor pronounced it a case of heart failure. She was born in Washington county, Virginia, was about 65 years of age, and came to Nebraska 31 years ago. It was a severe blow to the family and many friends. She leaves a husband, son Hugh of Harrington, Wallace of Omaha and John is at home, and one married daughter, Mrs. Sally Chamberlain resides at Norfolk. The large funeral was from the M. E. church of Kennard last Monday, and burial in the afternoon at Blair Cemetery. The sympathy of the entire community goes out to the family in their great sorrow.

Mrs. T. M. Wright (Mrs. Thomas Magee Wright, nee Margaret Neely)

Mrs. T. M. Wright fell dead from heart failure last Friday evening at her home in Kennard, while preparing to go to bed. The funeral was held at the Methodist church on Monday and interment made in the Blair cemetery. She had been in apparently perfect health and her sudden demise was a great shock to her family and friends. She leaves a husband, one daughter, Mrs. J.A. Chamberlain of Norfolk, and three sons, Hugh, John and Walter, to mourn the loss of the kindest of loving mothers.
