Services were held Friday, May 31 at Ontario’s Lienkaemper Chapel for Carrol V. Wrinkle, 68 of Ontario who died May 28, 1991 in an Ontario hospital. Rev. Wayne Dvirnak of the First Baptist church of Ontario officiated. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery at Ontario.

Carrol V. Winkle was born April 2, 1923 at Tekamah, Nebraska to Russell H. and Evelene Jenson Wrinkle. In 1934, the family moved from Nebraska to Harper where he went to school. They moved to Beulah, Oregon in 1943 where he was a rancher.

He married Betsy Daws at Winnemucca January 12, 1957. They moved to Ontario in 1963 where they farmed ever since.

He was a member of the Boulevard Grange.

He is survived by his wife, Betsy of Ontario; his mother, Evelene Wrinkle of Ontario; a daughter and son-in-law, Merle and Les Linegar of Ontario; a son, Roy Winkle of Vancouver, Washington; a stepdaughter, Mary Jane Elliott of Hamilton, Montana; a grandson, Robert Elliott of Camp Pendleton, California; a granddaughter, Carrie Elliott of Payette; an aunt, Violet Lawson; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorials may be made to the boulevard Grande or the American Heart Association.
