Mrs. Henry Wulbern Died At Good Shepherd Sunday

Maria Elisa Wulbern, widow of the late Henry Wulbern, of Blair, died last Sunday, July 20th at the Good Shepherd Home. Mrs. Wulbern was 79 years of age, having been born on a farm near Blair on September 22nd, 1895. She had spent her entire life in Washington County.

The deceased was married to Henry Wulbern February 23, 1921. For all of their active life they farmed southwest of Blair, south of the Blair Cattle Company area. They retired and moved to town in 1952.

Mr. Wulbern died in 1969 and Mrs. Wulbern lived alone for a time, moving to the Good Shepherd Home about four years ago.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Franke of Hooper, by two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services are being held today, July 24th at the First Lutheran Church in Blair. Rev. Robert Albers will conduct the service and burial will be made in the Blair Cemetery under the direction of the Bendorf Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be John Wolsmann, William Lammers, Harold Behrens, Albert, Willie and Harry Arp.
