Bertha Wulf, 87

Funeral services for Bertha Wulf, 87, of Blair were held on Saturday, Sept. 30, 2000, at Emmaus Lutheran Church in Kennard. Interment was in the Blair Cemetery. Mrs. Wulf died Thursday, Sept. 28, at Immanuel Hospital in Omaha.

Bertha Amanda Wulf was born Sept. 3, 1913, to Emil and Olevea (Christ) Matzen in Washington County.

She was a graduate of Kennard High School, and was married to Raymond Wulf. Mrs. Wulf worked as a nurses aide for Crowell Home.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, William and Freda Wulf of Cushing, Okla., a grandson, and a great-granddaughter; two brothers, Antone Matzen of Bennington, and Clarence Matzen of Blair; two sisters, Clara Wehrbein and Katherine Koenig, both of Blair.

She was preceded in death by her husband, four sisters, and seven brothers.

Memorials are suggested to Emmaus Lutheran Church or to a charity of the giver’s choice. Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
