Donald P. Wulf, 79, of Fremont, died Tuesday, April 8, 2008, in Arbor Manor, Fremont.

A memorial serve will be 11 a.m. Monday, April 14, in the Salem Lutheran Church in Fremont. There is no visitation.

Donald P. Wulf was born May 10, 1928, in Irvington, to Paul and Christina (Japp) Wulf. He was raised in the Kennard area, attending country school north of Kennard and graduating from Kennard High School in 1946.

He worked in Omaha for the Swift Packing Co. and in 1950 began farming in the Kennard area, and was also a Northrup King seed dealer. In 1970, he moved into Arlington and began working for Anderson Seed & Feed in Fremont. Then he began his employment with ADM in Fremont and worked there until retiring on Sept. 3, 1993.

On February 14, 1950, he married Larita Mae Carnaby. She preceded him in death in October 1979. On Dec. 26, 1980, he married Janice Golder Hespen and they made their home in Fremont.

Mr. Wulf was a member of Salem Lutheran Church of Fremont, the Eagles Aerie 200 and the Eagles Camping Club, and he had been a member of the Hooper Saddle Club. He was also a wood craftsman.

He is survived by his wife, Janice; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Randal and Gaye Wulf of Floresville, Texas, and Jeffrey Wulf of Arlington; stepson, Rodney Hespen of Fremont; stepdaughter and spouse, Tammy and Randy Trahan of Fremont; brother and sister-in-law, Clifford and Donna Wulf of Arlington; mother-in-law, Genevieve Golder of Fremont; two grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one step-great-grandchild; nieces, nephews, and their families.

Ludwigsen Mortuary is in charge of the arrangements.
