Services For Don Wulf Will Be Friday

Funeral services for 51 year old Donald William Wulf, a long time Blair businessman, will be 2 p.m. on Friday, April 23rd. The services will be at the First Methodist Church in Blair. Mr. Wulf died Wednesday, April 21, 1982, after a lengthy illness.

Rev. Gordon Patterson will officiate at the service with Campbell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. A Thursday evening prayer service will be held in the Campbell Chapel at 7 p.m. Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery.

Donald William Wulf was born to William and Helen Wulf on January 24, 1931 at Blair. Don attended Rose Hill School before coming to Blair where he was employed by the Blair Supply Company before he started the Blair Dairy Queen business in 1960.

In 1969 he made a major expansion in the Dairy Queen business and later, with his two sons Reg and Monte, went into the car wash, service station and Mini-Mart business next to their Dairy Queen operation on east Washington street in Blair.

Donald Wulf was a member of the Blair Lions Club and the Blair Fire Department. He is survived by his two sons, Reg Wulf and Monte Wulf, a sister, Evelyn Larson of Omaha, and two grandchildren.

A list of pallbearers was not available as this newspaper went to press on Wednesday.
