Harry Wulf, 85

Services for Harry Wulf, 85 of Arlington who died November 25, 1992 at his rural Arlington home were Monday, November 30 at Arlington Community Church in Arlington. Rev. Lee Milligan officiated. Burial was in the Arlington Cemetery.

Harry Wulf was born August 15, 1907 in Washington County. He lived in Washington County all his life and farmed southeast of Arlington until retiring from farming in 1982. He had also been a Pioneer Seed Corn salesman for over 20 years.

He was a member of the Arlington Community Church and sang in the choir. He was a member of the school board and a Camera Club member. He coached Midget and Legion baseball and participated in horseshoe and photography contests. He also judged photographs at county fairs and Ak-Sar-Ben.

He married Eulala E. Andersen June 1, 1932 at Blair. She preceded him in death January 11, 1990.

He was also preceded in death by his parents, George and Lizzie Rahlfs Wulf, an infant brother and a sister, Meta Kroeger.

He is survived by son, Gary Wulf of Kansas City, Missouri; two daughters, Nancy (Mrs. William) Krumel of Houston, Texas and Dianne (Mrs. Dennis) Krueger of West Point; two brothers, Leonard of Blair and Clifford of Omaha; a sister, Edna (Mrs. Elmer) Knudsen of St. Cloud, Minnesota; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Doug Krumel, Mike Krumel, Scott Wulf, Ricky Krueger, Mark Krueger, Tom Haley and Craig Schmidt.

Ruby House was organist. Candy Krueger and Shirley Schmidt were soloists.

Reckmeyer-Moser Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

ARLINGTON---The funeral for Harry Wulf, 85, of rural Arlington will be 2 p.m. Monday at Arlington Community Church.

Wulf died Wednesday, Nov. 25, 1992, at his home. He was a retired farmer.

He was born Aug. 15, 1907, in Washington County. He lived there all his life and farmed southeast of Arlington until retiring in 1982. He was a Pioneer Seed Corn salesman for more than 20 years.

Wulf was a member of Arlington Community Church and its choir, the school board, Camera Club, was a coach of Midget and Legion baseball, and judged photography at county fairs and at Ak-Sar-Ben.

He married Eulala Andersen June 1, 1932, in Blair. She died Jan. 11, 1990.

Survivors include a son, Gary Wulf of Kansas City, Mo.; two daughters, Nancy Krumel of Houston and Dianne Krueger of West Point; two brothers, Leonard of Blair and Clifford of Omaha; a sister, Edna Knudsen of St. Cloud, Minn.; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Wulf was preceded in death by a brother and sister.

The Rev. Lee Milligan will officiate Monday’s service. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. today and noon to 9 p.m. Sunday, both at Reckmeyer-Moser Funeral Home in Arlington, and an hour before the service at the church. Burial will be in Arlington Cemetery.
