Funeral Rites For Mrs. William Wulf This Afternoon

Funeral services will be held this afternoon (Thursday) for Mrs. William (Helen) Wulf, long-time Washington county resident who died in an Omaha hospital last Monday, December 2nd.

Mrs. Wulf was born in Elmshorn, Germany, April 16, 1891, and came to the United States with her parents in 1905. The family settled in the Washington county vicinity and in 1910 she was married to William Wulf. For forty-three years Mr. and Mrs. Wulf farmed in the Orum vicinity west of Blair. They retired and moved to Blair in 1953. Mr. Wulf died in 1956.

A daughter, Irene, also preceded Mrs. Wulf in death.

The deceased is survived by a daughter and two sons. The daughter is Mrs. Evelyn Larsen, of Omaha. The sons are Raymond, of Denver and Donald, of Blair. There are eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. A sister, Mrs. Dale Kearns, lives in Lincoln.

Funeral services will be held this afternoon (Thursday) at 2:00 o’clock at the First Lutheran Church. Pastor Sanford Sorgen of the First Lutheran and Pastor Joseph Myers of Immanuel Lutheran Church of Orum, will conduct the service. Burial will be made in the Blair cemetery under the direction of the Bendorf Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Howard Larsen, of Omaha; Leonard Wulf, of Arlington; Wilfred Stork, of Kennard; and Harland Wulf, Ray J. Rasmussen and Rudolph Frahm, all of Blair.
