Anna E. Anderson, 90, of Arlington, died Friday, March 31, 1989, at her son's home in Arlington.

Anna Liston was born September 7, 1898, in Nickerson. She taught in rural Dodge County schools for five years before her marriage.

She married Richard Suhr in April, 1923. They moved to Idaho in 1931. She returned to Nebraska in 1950 and lived in Sidney where she worked as a waitress.

She married Edward L. Anderson January 12, 1962, in Sidney. He died September 25, 1986.

She then moved to Arlington to live with her son, William Suhr. She was an accomplished pianist, who taught piano and played for many churches and organizations throughout her lifetime until suffering a stroke six years ago.

Survivors include four sons, Franklin Suhr of Paul, Idaho, Wiliam Suhr of Arlington, Lavon Suhr of North Ogden, Utah and Edward Anderson, Jr. of Kearney; three daughters, Betty Haven and Joyce Bennett, both of Sidney and Judy Morris of Lake Chelan, Washington; three brothers, Franklin Liston of Nickerson and William and Clayton Liston both of Hooper; five sisters, Wilma Meyer of Ellsworth, Kansas, MayBelle Johnson of North Bend, Helen Robertson of Fremont and Lolita Porter and Theresa Suhr of Scribner; 20 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. The Rev. Robert Saunders officiated. Burial was in Hooper Cemetery.
