Mrs. August Meyer Dies at Family Home

Mrs. Bertha Meyer, a resident of Fontanelle for 37 years, died at the family home in Fontanelle late Monday evening. The deceased was born in Germany, September 3, 1853, and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wegman. In 1891 she came to this country and located at Fontanelle where her marriage to A. W. Meyer was celebrated in September that year. She was possessed of a kind disposition and had a wide acquaintance in the western part of Washington county.

Funeral services will be conducted from the family home in Fontanelle this (Thursday) afternoon at 2:00 o’clock, with the Rev. Goethe officiating, after*
