LOREN L. SCHEER, 63
Loren L. Scheer, 63, of Arlington, died Friday, March 12, 1999, at Fremont Area Medical Center.
Services were Tuesday, March 16, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Fremont. The Rev. Phillip Vance officiated.
Burial was in St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery in Arlington.
Loren L. Scheer was born April 17, 1935, to Alfred and Alice (Walkenhorst) Scheer in rural Arlington.
He farmed on the family farm northeast of Arlington and later worked for Consolidated Blenders in Arlington for more than 20 years.
He lived in Arlington for all but 10 years of his life when he lived in Fremont.
He married Betty Hansen in Fremont. The couple later divorced.
A member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Fremont, he was a former member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Arlington.
He is survived by two sons, Kevin Scheer and Ken Scheer, both of Fremont; sister, Maxine Robinson of Fremont; and two grandchildren, Kendra and Matt Scheer.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Duane Scheer.
Memorials are suggested to Trinity Lutheran Church in Fremont.
Reckmeyer-Moser Funeral Home in Arlington was in charge of arrangements.
