WALDEMAR WALLACE SCHEER, 92

Services were Wed., Sept. 11, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church north of Arlington for Waldemar Wallace Scheer, 92 of Arlington who died Sept. 8, 1996 at the Fremont Area Medical Center. Dr. Michael L. Rogers officiated. Burial was in St. Paul’s Cemetery.

Waldemar Wallace Scheer was born March 13, 1904 at Arlington. He had lived in the Arlington area all his life, until moving to the Fremont Care Center 4 ½ years ago.

He was a farmer.

He married Rosa L. Krohn June 1, 1941 at Avoca, Iowa. She preceded him in death Jan. 4, 1988.

He was also preceded in death by his parents, John and Wilma Schormann Scheer; brothers, Garhardt Scheer, Otis Scheer, Alfred Scheer and Oscar Scheer and sisters, Helen Geisler and Wilma Krohn.

He is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Obert and Sally Scheer of Arlington; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Esther Grebe, Frieda Walkenhorst and Lilly and Walter Krohn, all of Fremont and many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Glen Echtenkamp, Orvin Scheer, Marlin Scheer, Wayne Krohn, Ronald Krohn and Richard Dau.

Memorials may be directed to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.

Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont was in charge of arrangements.
