ALICE SCHEFFLER, 91
Alice Scheffler, 91, of Blair, died Wednesday, Aug. 5, 1998, at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair.
Services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7 at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Blair. Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery.
Alice Beck was born Feb. 16, 1907 in Blair to Hans and Ida (Badgrow) Beck. She graduated from Blair High School.
In 1927 she married Orval Scheffler. They owned and operated Scheffler Sporting Goods for many years.
Mr. Beck preceded her in death in October of 1970.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Eunice Scheffler of Blair; grandson and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Scheffler of Blair and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Orval; her parents; one son, William; one brother, Harry Beck and one sister, Edna Kuhr.
Campbell-Aman Funeral Home in Blair is in charge of arrangements.
