LAURA SCHEIBE IS BURIED LAST WEEK
Laura Scheibe, 87, of Walbach, Nebraska, was buried Tuesday, August 24, at Hillside Cemetery at Wolbach. Services were held at the Trinity Lutheran Church at Wolbach, with the Rev. Elton Wath officiating.
Laura Scheibe was born August 22, 1894, near Cushing, Nebraska to Frank and Margret Berst. On April 27, 1921, she married Reinhardt Scheibe at Grand Island, Nebraska.
She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church and the American Legion Auxiliary of Wolbach. She was a Gold Star mother.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Eline) Morris of Cedar Rapids, Nebraska; and two sons, Leonard of Blair and Arnold of Grand Island. A brother, Frank Berst of Palmer; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren also survive her.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Reinhardt; three sons, Harold, Ray and Wayne; and one granddaughter, Tami.
