SERVICES FOR LARRY SCHEISSLER WERE HELD TUES. AFTERNOON

Services for Larry Lindall Scheissler, were held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Salem Lutheran Church in Fremont. Interment was in the Hooper Cemetery.

Mr. Scheissler had been hunting near St. Paul, Nebraska on Saturday with Gerry Russell and Jerry Fagerquist, both of Arlington. Mr. Scheissler had complained of a slight pain in his back and another in his chest. He climbed into his car and died before he could be rushed to the St. Paul, Nebraska Hospital. His hunting companions had given him mouth-to-mouth resuscitation in an attempt at saving him. Death was attributed to a heart attack aggravated by a diabetic condition.

Mr. Scheissler was 36 years old at the time of his death. He was presently manager of the Omaha Public Power District office in Arlington.

Mr. Scheissler is survived by his wife and three sons. They are Michael, David and Daniel. His parents are John and Molly Scheissler of Hooper. Woolmer and Warne, of Hooper, are in charge of arrangements.

He was married to Charmaine Ruff, Hooper, Sept. 4, 1949. He graduated from Hooper High School in 1948. He attended Midland College, was in the Armed Services and worked for the Omaha Public Power District at Ralston for 11 years, Louisville for 2 ½ years and Arlington for the past three years.

While in Arlington, Mr. Scheissler had become very active in the Sportsman’s Club, Volunteer Fire Department, Community Club and was presently on the Arlington Swimming Pool Committee. He was also a Red Cross Instructor.

An Education Fund has been established for the Scheissler boys along with a memorial fund for the Diabetic Fund.
