BARBARA SCHINCK, 50

Barbara Ann Schinck, 50, of rural Craig, died Friday morning, May 13, 1988, at the Oakland Memorial Hospital in Oakland after battling Multiple Sclerosis for many years.

Barb was born on May 19, 1937, in Omaha, to John and Mildred (Bentley) Corbin.

She was united in marriage to Lee J. Schinck on October 21, 1959, at Craig.

Barb taught school at one time in Burt County Rural Schools.

She was a life-long member of the United Methodist Church at Craig.

Survivors include her husband, Lee J. Schinck of Craig; three sons: Alan (and his wife, Tammy) Schinck of Oakland; Craig of Lincoln; and Chris (and his wife, Pam) of Craig; two granddaughters, Kassidy Jo Schinck and Jerri Ann Schinck; one sister, Dorothy Jewel of Alexandria, Virginia; and two brothers: John A Corbin of Beaver Crossing, Nebraska and Robert Corbin of Arlington, Nebraska; one aunt, Helen Bentley of Omaha; several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

Funeral services were held May 16, 1988, at the Craig United Methodist Church with Rev. Dr. Hal Smith officiating.

Interment was in the Craig Cemetery. Arrangements were handled by the Hamel & Peck Funeral Home in Tekamah.
