Services were held on Wednesday, November 29, 1989 at Saint Roberts Catholic Church in San Francisco, California for Rose Schleppenbach of Redwood City, California who died early Sunday morning after a short illness in the hospital. Burial was in the Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in San Francisco, California.

She was born in Pierce, Nebraska on March 21, 1889. She married Frank Schleppenbach. They had four sons and three daughters.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Schleppenbach and four sons, Benny, Ted, Louis and Frank.

She is survived by one sister Ann LaPlant of St. Paul, Minnesota, and three daughters and two sons-in-law, Mrs. Mary Ann Lancastor of Portland, Oregon; Mr. and Mrs. John Ranahan of San Francisco, California and Mrs. and Mrs. Frank Mann of Blair.

Twelve grandchildren: Rose Ann and Charlie of London, England; Jack and Rina Ranahan, Mike and Julie Ranahan, Denis and DeeDee Ranahan and Margaret Ranahan, all of San Francisco; Bob and Jackie Mann of Blair; Clyde and Tommie Mann of Detroit, Michigan; Mike and Mary Travis of Blair; Kevin Mann of Blair; Jerry and Paulette Brandt of Columbus, Nebraska; Kay and Bermann of Fremont and Barry and Rose Jensen of Las Vegas, Nevada. Many great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild, Preston Valish of Columbus, Nebraska also survive her.

Attending the funeral was her daughter Lucina Mann and husband Frank of Blair; granddaughter Rose Jensen and son Ryan of Las Vegan; grandson, Clyde Mann and son Timmy of Detroit and Blair; and many other relatives and friends.

Chappel (?sp) of the Highlands Funeral Home in Melbray, California was in charge of arrangements for the Wednesday morning service.
