ANNA V. SCHMIDT, 91
Anna V. Schmidt, 91, who died September 26, 1994 at Holland Retirement Home in South Holland, Illinois, was cremated in Illinois and returned to Blair for burial October 3.
Anna V. Schmidt was born in Blair August 6, 1903 to E.W. and Adele Waygand Schmidt.
She attended Blair Schools and graduated in 1920. She attended Dana College, Nebraska Wesleyan University and graduated from the University of Nebraska in 1924.
She was a commercial teacher in Grand Island, Nebraska for three years. She then taught in Calument City, Illinois until her retirement.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Ernest Schmidt.
Among her survivors are first cousins, Pauline Beales of Omaha and Ruth Lippincott, Richard Lippincott and Don Lippincott, all of Blair.
